Log update

I bid you good tidings. Believe it or not, I have been running semi-consistently the last few weeks. My watch is now full, so I'll record the contents here. (N.B.: My watch's band has broken so now I carry around just the face in my hands when I run.) I'll attempt to reproduce the results ad nausem here, though some of the details are a bit hazy.

In law school news, I've been very fortunate with my first semester grades. My quest for a summer job continues, though the outlook is promising. This coming week I have 4 interviews and a firm reception lined up. I'm busy and will be relieved when the recruiting season passes.

Classes this semester include Con Law, Property, and Contracts.

Disclaimer: the following is very boring.

12/23
42 min. Easy around roads of parents home. Very slow.
12/24
34 min. Roads in Pottstown.
12/25
I did a run in East Brunswick, NJ around "Frost's woods". These are nice trails, though they form a complex labyrinth. I basically go in, and run around until I find the exit again. No watch today--probably around 40 min?
12/26
31 min. ?
12/30
31 min. Around Baltimore, off-the-beaten path in an industrial area with Stacy. Stacy, don't run here alone.
12/31
42.5 min. New Year's Eve! This was a slow run, probably around Dru Hill in Baltimore.
1/1
30.5 min. Baltimore.
1/2
Treadmill run in the Hyatt in Boston. 4-5 miles? Faster than I have been going. Did this in the evening, following a firm reception. Later went to Chinatown.

Tues, 1/9
40 min. This was my favorite Baltimore loop--up by the art college, around Druid Hill Park, and thru the industrial slums. 5.5 miles.
1/10
38.5 min. Same loop as yesterday, but faster today. 5.5.
1/11
38.5 min. Same loop. Drove back to W-burg today. 5.5.
1/12
41:41. Ran from apartment down D.O.G. street and Colonial W-burg. 6 miles.
1/13
31 min. Ran mostly w/ Stacy (read: slow); explored North on Merrimac Trail. Wouldn't recommend it again. 3.5 miles.
1/14
62 min. 8.5-9 miles. Ran down DOG street, and across W&M campus. Found a trail on the other side of campus.
Weekly total: 34 miles.

1/15
67 min. Went back to explore trail; looks decent. 9 miles
1/16
41 min. This was probably from my apt down DOG street. 6
1/17
57.5 min. I parked by the trails (which are near the gym). Explored same trails. Dug them. 8 miles.
1/18
6 miles on the treadmill in under 40 minutes (6:40 pace). Lifted. Treadmills are warm.
1/19
54.5 min. Thru campus. 7.5 miles.
1/20
1 hour 37.5 min. Met Jonathan B at Patapsco Park in Baltimore. We went very long (compared to what I'm used to). 13.5 miles--ballpark guess.
1/21
40 min. Took it easier today. 5.5 miles.
Weekly total: 55.5 miles. Wow, that's not too shabby.

1/22
I interviewed today in Baltimore. I would've run in the morning, but there was snow everywhere and it was slick. Lasy Charm City residents didn't clear the sidewalks quickly enough. Interview went well. Made it back to W&M for a review session that night.
1/23
My records are flawed for today, I think it was around 8 miles: around W&M campus.
1/24
I ran 4 miles quickly on the treadmill (~6:15-20) but then had to stop as I was overheating in the stifling, sweaty, crowded environment. I added+ 9 min cooldown outside which felt much better. Lifted. 5 miles total.
1/25
? I believe I ran around the woods today for 67 min in the snow. I wore my nice Princeton watch by accident. 9.5 miles.
1/26
6 miles on the treadmill: 39:20. I run on the treadmill when it's cold/dark out sometimes. Keeps the pace honest, at least. I always put the incline at .5.
1/27
70 min. I ran today down DOG and thru campus and down part of a fitness trail.
1/28
42 min. Probably down DOG.
Weekly total: 44.5 miles.

1/29
6 miles on the treadmill in 40 min?
1/30
41 min: 6 miles.
1/31
52 min: I ran around the woods today. It was going well, until I twisted my ankle quite hard on a hidden stump. 7.5 miles.
2/1
Almost didn't run today due to sore ankle. Got on the treadmill and still got in 6 miles in 40 min (last mile around 5:45).
2/2
I think I subjected myself to the treadmill again today. Same deal 6 miles, 40 min. Lifted hard.
2/3
21.5 min. Sore and tired. Loooong week. Looped the block, which was pretty short it turns out.
2/4
did the 6 mile jaunt down DOG street.
Weekly Total: 40.5 miles. I've been lifting pretty well, too. My arms hurt.
