Cheerio!

The origins of croquet are nebulous. It is known that the sport was introduced to England from Ireland in the early 1800s. During the late 1800s and early 1900s, croquet gained popularity at a stunning rate, especially as an agreeable pastime for the upper classes. Soon, the sport spread to America, and now monkeys have even picked up the 3-pound mallet in search of world class competition.
